ArcelorMittal has chosen Danieli Corus for the revamp of Hot Blast Stoves 8 and 10 of Blast Furnace No. 3 at their Temirtau, Kazakhstan steel plant. This is a repeat order since currently, Danieli Corus is revamping Hot Blast Stove 9 of the same Blast Furnace. Both revamp projects include a conversion from a hemispherical to a mushroom dome design, the installation of a ceramic burner and the application of the proven Danieli Corus design features for expansion allowance in the refractory construction.
