Business Controller (fulltime)
The objective of this position is to further strengthening and professionalizing the Finance & Control Department to predict both project and company results and the forecasted cash flow correctly. The Business Controller is the business partner of the Board of Directors and Management. The main objective is to control the functioning of the administrative organization and internal control measures in order to realize reliable internal and external financial reporting in time and in full.
Furthermore, the Business Controller delivers a proactive contribution to the risk management awareness and the margin improvement of the business. The Business Controller reports to the CFO and contributes proactively to the realization of the company’s strategic and (annual) plan objectives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, improve and deliver periodic financial reports, forecasts and budgets;
- Prepare the annual financial statements in consultation with the external auditor;
- Prepare the annual plan of the legal entities of the Danieli Corus Group of Companies;
- Support international teams in India, China and Germany with financial coordination and reporting;
- Analyze and monitor the objectives and results per the budget, latest estimate and rolling forecast;
- Act as sparring partner for Management and Board of Directors.

Your knowledge and experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English;
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred).
You gained solid experience in a financial and business controlling role in an international industrial or engineering environment like construction, infrastructure or oil and gas.
