Danieli Corus has a track record of 45 years as an engineering company and plant builder for the global steel industry. From its IJmuiden home base, Danieli Corus prepares and executes projects, ranging from technical consultancy to the construction and commissioning of entire blast furnace facilities. As a Control Engineer (Level 1), you will be involved in the software development of new and existing blast furnaces around the world, according to ISA88. You will be involved in the control and maintenance of existing (customer) installations, as well as standardized products within the organization. After software creating, you will travel to the customer for implementation. This can be done on an individual basis or as part of a team, depending on the size of the project. Programming, implementing, and testing blast furnace components remotely and/or on location is part of your daily routine.

For the execution of our greenfield and modernization projects, the Engineering Department is divided into Project Engineering and Discipline Engineering Departments such as Mechanical, Process, Refractory and EIC&A Engineering. The Department employs approximately 20 experts and is responsible for the design of plant components related to EI&C and Automation, contributes to technology improvement and supports the Global Sales Department.
