Integrated Steelmaking Plants since 1977
Danieli Corus' roots are firmly linked to the Corus IJmuiden steel plant, where ironmaking started in 1924. In 1977, it was decided to initiate an engineering and contracting company, offering services to the global iron and steel industry. Expansion in the North American market started in 1989, resulting in the current three North American offices.
In 1999, 50% of the shares in the company were sold to the Italian equipment manufacturer Danieli & C Officine Meccaniche SpA, resulting in a joint venture called Danieli Corus. Currently, Danieli Corus is represented in 39 countries around the world.
